Lucas County Children Services (LCCS) is seeking a new, five-year, 1.5-mill levy on the November 2024 general election ballot.
The $12.2 million it will generate each year will largely be used to offset the increased cost of caring for Lucas County's most troubled children.
Issue 30 will generate more than $12 million, providing the resources to allow trained and experienced LCCS caseworkers and other staff to continue leading the community in the protection of children.
